Privacy policy
Your wedding photos belong to you. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and how you stay in control of every photo and name in your album.
The short version
- The couple owns their wedding album and everything in it.
- Guests choose who sees each photo — public, friends-only, or just the couple — and we enforce that on our servers.
- We never sell your data or your photos, and we don't use your photos to train anything.
- You can export or permanently delete your whole album at any time.
What we collect
Photos and captions guests upload to an album. Names and a wedding date the couple provides so each band can be engraved and each guest's page can greet them. Likes and comments guests leave. Basic technical data — device type, rough location and pages viewed — through standard analytics, so we can keep the site fast and working.
How sharing and visibility work
Every photo carries the visibility its uploader chose. "Friends-only" and "couple only" photos are filtered on the server before they're ever sent to a browser — they are not merely hidden in the interface. Changing a photo's visibility, or deleting it, takes effect everywhere.
How we use what we collect
To run your album, engrave your bands, show each guest the right photos, send you order and album updates, and improve the product. That's it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to measure traffic in aggregate (via Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager). You can block cookies in your browser; the album will still work for the essentials.
Keeping it, and deleting it
An album stays available to the couple for as long as the account is active. The couple can export the full archive in a click, or ask us to permanently delete the album, the photos and the guest list. Email hello@wearablewedding.com and we'll handle deletion promptly.
Children
Wearable Wedding is for adults arranging a wedding. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Photos of children that guests choose to share are governed by the same visibility controls and can be removed by the couple at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these, write to hello@wearablewedding.com and we'll respond.
